Mario Alzate was born in Miami and raised in Colombia. He finished his studies of Design at ITESO in Guadalajara Mexico , where he discovered his vocation by studying Analog Photography and Darkroom. After, he returned to Colombia where he collaborated with big advertising and fashion photographers whom envisioned him to continue his studies at International Center of Photography in the city of New York. Soon after he returned to where he currently reside. Mario Alzate believes in his versatilities as a photographer; however, he is identified by his work in fashion and portraits.
