MARIO ALZATE

Mario Alzate is a Miami-based fashion, editorial, and commercial photographer with over a decade of experience crafting visually stunning narratives.

Born in Miami and raised in Colombia, he discovered photography through analog film while studying design at ITESO in Guadalajara, Mexico, later training alongside top advertising and fashion photographers in Colombia and at the International Center of Photography in New York.

His credits include editorials for Rolling Stone, Vogue Hombre, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Ocean Drive; campaigns for TAG Heuer, IWC, Levi's, Fender, Walmart, and Pantene; and portraits of artists including Juanes, Rosalía, J Balvin, Maluma, Chayanne, Sebastián Yatra, and Sofía Vergara. Beyond stills, he directs and shoots video — from brand films and music videos to reels and short-form content. He also creates visuals for luxury hospitality and tourism, having worked with the tourism boards of Switzerland and Costa Rica.
